Preamble

This is an institution/organization established in perpetual memorial of Mrs. Grace Achando Ogot and the type of life she lived and contributions made towards humanity.  Grace, for most of her life, lived, worked and died while helping educate the youth as a teacher and an educator.  Grace’s educational interest and ambitions were in the areas of agriculture and consumer sciences, with special emphasis in nutrition and dietetics.  It is sad that Grace eventually died of complications arising from spinal injuries sustained while working as a student, diabetes and finally cancer.  It is for these reasons that the Foundation aims to initiate activities that can help future generations learn to live/manage and avoid such disease conditions.

The Foundation is located at Mikai Centre, Gangre village, Kakelo Dudi Location close to Oyugis town in Rachuonyo South District in Western Kenya with the following contact information:  Branches will be established at other locations when necessary and appropriate.
